Walter Cunningham, last surviving Apollo 7 astronaut, passes away at 90

Walter Cunningham, the last surviving member of the 1968 Apollo 7 mission, passed away on Tuesday at 90 years old.
He was born in Iowa and served in the US Navy and Marine Corps before joining NASA in 1963.
He participated in the Apollo program’s first crewed and televised flight.
