PhonePe hits $1 trillion annualised payment value run rate, obtains licence

Digital payments platform PhonePe has achieved an annualised total payment value run rate of $1 trillion, or Rs 84 trillion.
This is mainly due to its dominance in UPI transactions.
The company has also obtained a licence.
